The Tex-Mex flavoured ‘Say It Out Loud’ is described by the US giant as follows: “Accordion features coupled by delicate strums of an acoustic guitar and Connolly’s deep and emotive vocals bring the throwback tune to life”.

AGS TO TOUR WITH LEO RONDEAU IN APRIL!

This April Ags will be headed out across the UK and Ireland this April with the one and only Leo Rondeau! Anyone who’s spent a nanosecond in Austin or Nashville honky tonks will know that Leo is one of the most respected artists and songwriters on the scene and this will be his first trip to these shores.

AGS PLAYS FIRST SHOWS IN GERMANY

This week Ags will head to Germany where he’ll play his first ever shows in the country…

On Thursday 27th September Ags plays Hafenbahnhof in Hamburg, promoted by Yeehaw Hamburg. Then on Saturday 29th September Ags will be in Frankfurt to play Dreikonigskeller, promoted by Country Jamboree.

These shows will only be Ags’ second visit to perform in mainland Europe, after his appearance at Summer Vintage Festival in San Salvo Marina, Italy in 2015.

AGS TO PERFORM AT THE UK COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

Ags is among a select group of artists who have been asked to perform at the 2018 UK Country Music Awards.

The awards will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel near East Midlands Airport on Saturday 1st September. Other artists performing include Hannah Johnson & The Broken Hearts and Philippa Hannah. Tickets and more information on the awards can be found at ukcountrymusicawards.com.

AGS TO OPEN FOR HANS CHEW ON UK TOUR

This summer Ags will be opening five dates for his friend (and fellow At The Helm Records roster member) Hans Chew and his band on their UK tour. Hans is a piano playing singer-songwriter originally from Chattanooga and now residing in New York City. He has previously played piano for several bands including Hiss Golden Messenger.

‘NOTHIN’ UNEXPECTED’ TO GET PHYSICAL US RELEASE ON SOFABURN RECORDS

Ags’ second album ‘Nothin’ Unexpected’, released in the UK on At The Helm Records in February 2017, will have a physical release in the US on SofaBurn Records next month.

SofaBurn have had a close relationship with At The Helm since the release of Jeremy Pinnell’s ‘Ties of Blood & Affection’ on both labels in 2017. The physical distribution of ‘Nothin’ Unexpected’ will mark the first time Ags’ music has been distributed in the US in anything other than digital format.

The CD will be available in the US from 9th March 2018.
