This November Ags will be travelling to the Shetland Islands to perform at the Thomas Fraser Memorial festival, which takes place from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th.
Ags will appear at Burra Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, alternating headliner duties with Canadian bluegrass fiddle player April Verch and Nashville honky-tonker Scott Icenogle (with his band A11). The festival has been held semi-regularly since 2002 in memory of Shetland fisherman and hillbilly singer Thomas Fraser, whose recordings have posthumously been released after his death in 1978.
Ags will then play four dates on mainland Scotland. Details as follows:
Mon 16th – Inverness, Market Bar
Tue 17th – Nairn, Links Studio
Thu 19th – Perth, The Tavern
Fri 20th – Edinburgh, The Bluebird Café
