‘Corner Of My Street’ – the only track on the album written by Ags himself – came into being after Ags and James met for the last time in 2018 and the Texas troubadour suggested they write songs together. Ags wrote the song as an initial idea, but James sadly never got to hear it. It has had a great response from listeners since the album’s release in late 2024 and a single release seemed like a natural next step…

Ags’ fourth album ‘Siempre’, released in June 2023, has been named on several lists celebrating the best albums/songs of the year!

Country Music People‘s January issue features its Critics’ Choice Top 10 lists, of which ‘Siempre’ is featured in three. Steve Tidbury has the album in his number one spot, whilst Jack Watkins described Ags as “a New Master who sounds like an Old Master”.

Elsewhere in the issue, CMP rated the song ‘Tell Me What You were Gonna Tell Me’ among the best of 2023.

‘Siempre’ was also celebrated in rundowns from sources such as Fried Coyote and Country Lowdown, whilst Cerys Matthews played the song ‘Change My Mind’ as part of her 2023 round up on BBC 6 Music!
