The new album ‘Siempre’, funded by a Kickstarter campaign and produced by Ags himself is officially released today!
Early reviews have called it “his best album to date” (Country Music People), “damn good” (Rocking Magpie), “great” (Nightshift magazine) and ” a visionary album” (EF Country).
‘Siempre’ is available to buy on CD HERE, with vinyl on the way soon! You can also stream and download it HERE.
The final single from the soon-to-be-released album ‘Siempre’ has been premiered by Glide Magazine!
‘Change My Mind’ is a tejano-flavoured polka, and Glide calls it: “…a tune that feels like a welcome revival of a brief period in country music that is far too overlooked, with Connolly’s country crooning fusing with the accordion and bajo quinto as naturally as chips and queso.”

The major roots music website The Bluegrass Situation has premiered the second single from the upcoming album Siempre!
The song is called ‘Overwhelmed’. It’s a barroom waltz that Ags sees as an important piece of the patchwork of Texas music that makes up the new record.

‘Headed South For A While’ is the first single from Ags’s new album ‘Siempre’, which is due for release on 16th June 2023.
As was recently imparted to all the backers of the Kickstarter campaign, the new album ‘Siempre’ has now been recorded and mixed!
There’s still a way to go before it sees the light of day but the sessions were productive and successful, ably engineered and overseen by Stuart Jones at Woodworm Studios in Oxfordshire.
More news to come as things move forward with ‘Siempre’!

Ags plans to start recording ‘Siempre’ in December with a planned release for the album in summer 2023. Stay tuned!
