Things just got real in late summer as Ags prepares to open for Charley Crockett on tour!!
The tour will cover the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe with 16 dates in total as Charley promotes his album ‘The Man From Waco’.
Ags will open all the shows solo (bar End Of The Road Festival).

This November Ags will be touring the UK with Texas country artist Summer Dean, opening all the shows on what will be her first trip to the UK!
Summer’s new album ‘The Biggest Life’, produced by Bruce Robison, has been receiving rave reviews and her reputation as a live performer has been growing following tours with the likes of Colter Wall and Mike and The Moonpies.

The new album ‘Siempre’, funded by a Kickstarter campaign and produced by Ags himself is officially released today!
Early reviews have called it “his best album to date” (Country Music People), “damn good” (Rocking Magpie), “great” (Nightshift magazine) and ” a visionary album” (EF Country).

The final single from the soon-to-be-released album ‘Siempre’ has been premiered by Glide Magazine!
‘Change My Mind’ is a tejano-flavoured polka, and Glide calls it: “…a tune that feels like a welcome revival of a brief period in country music that is far too overlooked, with Connolly’s country crooning fusing with the accordion and bajo quinto as naturally as chips and queso.”

The major roots music website The Bluegrass Situation has premiered the second single from the upcoming album Siempre!
The song is called ‘Overwhelmed’. It’s a barroom waltz that Ags sees as an important piece of the patchwork of Texas music that makes up the new record.

‘Headed South For A While’ is the first single from Ags’s new album ‘Siempre’, which is due for release on 16th June 2023.
Ags will be returning to the Netherlands for a run of dates in March and April!
After his successful tour there in 2020 and acclaimed appearance at the Ramblin’ Roots Festival in Utrecht in 2022, Ags is returning to play more Dutch shows this year.
The run will take in all the below venues – with a break in the middle for two UK shows with Mike and The Moonpies!
