Yes folks, today Ags is launching a Kickstarter campaign for his next album, ‘Siempre’. As you may know, Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform that raises money for projects through ‘backers’ who essentially buy a piece of work (in this case, the album) in advance, among other exclusive rewards, to support the process of it being made.

This album will be a further exploration of the ‘border’-style rhythms that have gradually crept into Ags’ albums and he is excited about the songs that are lined up for it. However, Ags needs your help to make it a reality…

Festival season is back for 2022 and Ags will be kicking it off with an appearance at Red Rooster Festival in Suffolk!

This will be Ags’ second appearance at the festival, which this year features acts like Seasick Steve, Joshua Hedley and Cedric Burnside. Ags plays Saturday 4th June…don’t miss it!

If you didn’t, it’s not too late! Nashville country artist and old friend Kenny Foster invited Ags to duet with him on this festive classic with a new twist. The result was ‘Auld Lang Syne (Once Again)’, sure to become a fixture of New year’s Eve for years to come…

After a ten-month hiatus, Ags returns to the live stage with shows in October and September!

First, Ags will be part of the 2021 High Tide Festival in Twickenham playing the CTZN Brew Americana stage. Music starts at 3pm and Ags takes the stage at 4!

Then on 15th October Ags will be co-headlining at What’s Cookin’ in London with US singer-songwriter Nathan Bell.

This past Saturday 17th October, UK Country Radio announced the winners of its annual UK Country Music Awards – and Ags’s ‘Wrong Again’ album was named UK Country Album Of The Year!

The awards were announced live on air after the usual ceremony was unable to go ahead due to pandemic restrictions. ‘Wrong Again’ was nominated alongside albums by Nathan Carter, The Shires, The Joe Keeley Band and Phoenix Morby.

‘Wrong Again’ was released in November 2019 via Finstock Music and was produced by Ags himself. The album is available on both CD and vinyl via the Shop.

The newly re-started Cow Pie record label have very generously decided to release Ags’ most recent album on 180g clear/black marbled vinyl. Cow Pie was originally started as a home for country music in the UK back in 1978, and has now been revived to offer up more of the same. The great news is that ‘Wrong Again’ will be part of that.
